Jesus commissioned us to make disciples of all nations, and he said to begin at home (our Jerusalem). So to add to our robust sermon based learning approach, this Spring we are launching a second layer of discipleship training called "Discipleship: Equipping for Ministry and Mission."
We’ll be using scope and sequence, plus the six-step WISDOM based approach found in The Leadership Baton (co-authored by Bruce Miller) to increase our efforts to bring all to maturity in Christ.

Every Tuesday we are offering a combination of six Bible study groups that are interspersed with five different Seminars which will run through May.
Each Bible study group will be covering a 12 week course curriculum in the span of 16 weeks, but you can jump in at any time. There is a Bible study group for everyone, no matter where you are on your Christian faith journey.
Seminars are open to all free of charge and are offered in conjunction with a specific study group or can be attended as a stand alone lecture. Seminars are offered Jan. 24, March 6, April 17 and May 29.
Bible Study Methods seminars... We know that the Bible is God's Word and that reading and applying it is important. But we can sometimes struggle to know what God is communicating through it. In this session we will get an overview of Bible study methods and then practice reading strategies that will help us better discover what it says. Join us as we work together to better become "All Bible: People guided by the Word." Offered March 6, April 17 and May 29.

Answering the New Atheists... Many of the best selling books over the last few years have been written by the New Atheists (Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Sam Harris, and Daniel Dennett). This class will first consider some of the criticisms brought by these individuals and then provide biblical answers to their objections to Christianity. Offered May 29.

Knowing God study group dives right into the study of our triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. You’ll learn how to grow in intimacy and dependency on the God who loved you and saved you for his own. Learn who this God is who desires to have a relationship with us. Marvel at some of his most outstanding attributes. Explore each member of the Trinity. See how we’re to properly respond to this loving God. The Bible Study Methods seminars are designed to compliment this study group.
Apologetics is a combined effort of Probe Ministries and CCBT (Centers of Church Based Training) to produce an apologetic study designed to help growing Christians to be able to give a reason for the hope we have, and a reasonable defense of the Christian faith. This is the beta testing for this new curriculum and will be a challenging study for any believer. The Apologetics seminars are designed to accompany this study.
