What I Do:
I am the director of administration and a research associate for Probe Ministries. I am responsible for all the non-ministry activities (payroll, facility, insurance, etc.) for Probe as well as a researcher, writer, and speaker on such topics as world religions, cults, education, and the Christian worldview in general. I have been married to Deanne since 1975 and am the father to two grown sons Aaron and Andrew. We had the privilege of adding a daughter-in-law to our family when Aaron married Aubrey in 2009.
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I love that Christ Fellowship is serious about both knowing and living biblical truth. I love that it places more emphasis on the functions of a New Testament church rather than on the forms by which to accomplish them. I love the staff that God has directed to the church and the many lay leaders that we have been blessed with.
How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
Bruce was in my small group at Fellowship Bible Church North when he made the decision to start Christ Fellowship (then McKinney Fellowship). He invited Deanne and me to join him in the adventure of planting the church and we accepted.
Before Christ Fellowship:
I was a small group (mini-church) leader at Fellowship Bible Church North.
How I Met Jesus:
My college roommate shared Christ with me during my sophomore year. Three months later, after reading Francis Schaeffer’s trilogy of books I prayed to trust in Christ.

I once competed in powerlifting in a prison (I was a guest).
