What I Do:
I program all the elements (music, creative elements, liturgy, etc.) that go into a service to remove distractions and point the way to an encounter with God.

What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I love the fact that we have a culture, lead by our senior pastor, that embraces the arts as a way to glorify God and point people to Him. I also love the fact that all of us, including the Pastors, know we are just as “broken” as the next guy and are still striving to get to that next place of being “less broken”.

How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
Totally a “God thing!” After 9-11 and the loss of my husbands job, my family found ourselves in an adventure that would take us out of our church home of 8 years, in Southern California, and here to McKinney Texas. Christ Fellowship was the 3rd place we visited and we never left. The clincher was when our 5 year old son, who came to “big church with us” looked at us on the way out and said with big eyes “Mom. Dad. I think this is where God wants us to be.” Enough said!

Before Christ Fellowship:
I was on staff at stadium Vineyard in Anaheim, Calif. as the finance person and was the volunteer leader of the Worship Ministry.

How I Met Jesus:
I grew up a PK (preacher’s kid) and knew Jesus from a very young age. I actually accepted Him in to my heart at age 2 in my backyard, in a refrigerator box – turned club house, when the neighbor kids told me I should do that to go to heaven (after they heard that at a Backyard Bible Club). I re-dedicated my life to Christ many times over my youth, to make sure it “took”, but became a fully devoted follower of Christ after high school and have never looked back!

Favorite Bible Verse:
John 3:30 He must increase, I must decrease.

Hobbies:
Music, music, a good book, music , music, music (you get the picture).

Random Fun Fact:
I am STILL addicted to Survivor after all these seasons. Sick – I know!
