What I Do:
I support several of the adult ministries, including women, baptisms and care ministries.
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
Christ Fellowship is home to me. I feel loved and encouraged while being challenged to grow in my walk with the Lord. I have to say the most amazing thing for me is our Life Group!
My husband and I have been small group leaders for many years and really don't feel complete without the fellowship that a small groups offers. We thoroughly enjoy the laughter and sharing fun times together as well as the challenges and walking through the tough stuff with one another.
Before Christ Fellowship:
My husband and our family moved to McKinney in 2002 and landed here after being invited by one of his co-workers. Finding a church home has always been a top priority when we have had to relocate.
How I Met Jesus:
I was eight when I asked Jesus to be Lord of my life. No lightening moment, dramatic life change but a hunger for him at an early age. Only he knew how much I would need him before I finished high school. It was by his strength alone that I endured the deaths of two men that I adored, my grandfather and my dad, within two years of each other.
Favorite Bible Verse:
My life verse has been Philippians 4:13 which is familiar to many... I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
Hobbies:
I grew up taking ballet and I love dancing and teaching to this day. I also love to play on my computer and have found Facebook to eat much time out of my day!
Random Fun Fact:
My favorite role I ever danced was Peter Pan in a production of Ballet in the Park. I think that Peter and I have a lot in common in our mischievous natures! As most people know... I love to laugh!
