What I Do:
I type sermons for the senior pastor; I work with Vicki Hudson in outreach ministries, Laurie Wright in the senior pastor’s office and with Mike Stewart in care ministries; I am on the Count Team and am co-leader of Thursday night Faithful Friends Group.
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I have grown so much deeper with God. The atmosphere of love, friendship and fellowship. The ability to pray spontaneously for someone in need. I love the worship and being able to worship God “full out” with music that speaks to me personally.
How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
After a medical procedure on my heart in which I could have died. I decided it was time to answer that void in my life and get back to church and God. A friend brought me to Ruben Johnson Elementary and I have been here since.
Before Christ Fellowship:
I was a Registered Nurse for 38 years. When I retired I answered the call for a Volunteer in the Sr. Pastor’s office and have been here since.
How I Met Jesus:
For me, I have really met Jesus since attending Christ Fellowship. Thru sermons, Bible Studies, Study Guides and Life Groups I have really come to know Him.
Favorite Bible Verse:
Be anxious for nothing, but by prayer and petition with Thanksgiving present your requests to God and the Peace which Passeth all understanding shall be in your heart and soul in Christ Jesus.
Hobbies:
Travel
Random Fun Fact:
I’m retired and I don’t sit still very much. I have been told that I am going to run the wheels off of my car before I am too old to drive it anymore.
