What I Do:
God has blessed Michelle and me with the opportunity to partner with Christ Fellowship and other churches to help develop several new networks of organic churches, primarily in the North Texas area.
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
Our love and commitment to God and to his written Word in the Bible, and the tremendous passion we have to love the people in our community and around the world and to introduce them to the kingdom of God in their midst.
How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
After helping to launch the early stages of Christ Fellowship before there was even a church, it is our privilege to come full circle to now serve with a number of friends from years ago as well as many brand new friends we are meeting every day.
Before Christ Fellowship:
I grew up in the beautiful state of Minnesota before attending college and grad schools in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Texas. I have owned and operated my own business and have served vocationally on staff with four different churches since 1982, primarily in small group ministry and leader development. My family and I have been proud citizens of the great state of Texas since 1985. I am married to my best friend, Michelle, and we have three grown sons, Daniel, Josh and David, of whom we are very proud.
How I Met Jesus:
As a boy of eigth years old, I understood that God loved me and that Jesus died for me and forgave all my sins, past, present and future. My teacher invited me to trust Jesus following a class halloween party and he has been faithful to me every day since then.
Favorite Bible Verse:
"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful, And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds." Hebrews 10:23-24
Hobbies:
Reading, golfing, working out and anything related to water and the beach.
Random Fun Fact:
I was a high school drum major.
