What I Do:
I serve as the Administrative Assistant for the Spanish Ministry. I am also in charge of Evangelism and serve in the Women’s Ministry within the Spanish Ministry.
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I love the leadership and that everyone is welcome; no matter what color you are, what race, what language you speak, or the way you look.
How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
Two weeks after getting married in Mexico in 2005, God lead my husband Neal and I (we are a cross-cultural couple) to Texas to start the process of getting my Permanent Residency in order to be able to cross borders together with no problems. We didn’t know anybody in Texas except for a few families from Christ Fellowship who have visited my home church in Monterrey during short-term mission trips, these families made us feel the love of Jesus, and we ended up in McKinney. Now Christ Fellowship is our family!
Before Christ Fellowship:
I had a full time job in the Environment Health and Safety department in CEMEX. I served in the children and youth ministries in my home church, Iglesia Cristiana ELIM in Monterrey, México. I also served with Time Ministries Monterrey doing street Evangelism.
How I Met Jesus:
I remember raising my hand to receive Jesus at age seven; however, the real stop-messing-around-and-turn-to-Jesus kind of deal was when I was 14. My oldest sister Noelia was hit by a car really bad, she ended up in a comma and was in the hospital for two months. BUT GOD had mercy and did an amazing miracle in her life! My family and I came to know God and understood His love and care for us in a very unique way. My sister’s accident taught me that one day I’m here on earth, the next I may not be… and I turned my life to Jesus. I’m not perfect but still in the process.
