What I Do:
Student Ministry Intern with a focus in the middle school ministry, Merge. As that may be my technical title, I jump around helping fill any void there may be in both Merge and Fuel.

What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I love the authenticity of Christ Fellowship. This church is simply about the furthering of God's kingdom. Christ Fellowship has a genuine love for people, and seeks to touch everyone that is within their reach, and I am just excited to be a part of what God is doing through this church.

How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
My wife and I visited Christ Fellowship before our wedding searching for the first church that we would attend together. We both enjoyed Christ Fellowship, and through the Care Card I was able to get hooked up with Jon Ewton. After our wedding I began volunteering at Merge, and then God provided a perfect situation that allowed me to come on staff with Jon and the Student Ministries team.

Before Christ Fellowship:
After graduating Winthrop University in 2010, I spent the following summer working as an intern for Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, TX. During college God began grooming me for ministry by giving me the opportunity to serve on the FCA student leadership team at Winthrop.

How I Met Jesus:
My grandfather was a pastor for 50+ years, my uncle was a pastor, my dad was a deacon, needless to say I had a church upbringing. At the age of six my dad led me to Christ and I was baptized by my grandfather. I strive to continue to grow and devote myself to the study of the Word today.

Favorite Bible Verse:
Hebrews 13:5 "...be content with what you have because God has said, "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you."

Hobbies:
I am an avid deer hunter, and I am willing to give pretty much any outdoor activity a try. I love the game of baseball, playing it, watching it, it really doesn't matter. Any movie that doesn't fall under the romantic comedy genre I am willing to watch.

Random Fun Fact:
I am the only member on the Student Ministries team that doesn't eat Sushi.
