What I Do:
I get to work in the familiarity and comfort of spreadsheets, numbers, details, and policies/procedures in HR, while exploring my creative, out-of-the-box, big picture, visionary side as the Studio Director. Both sides, working together - completely fulfilling!
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I have always loved the uniqueness of this church and the people here. You will find people who truly love the Lord from every background and walk of life. They have a heart for outreach and encourage everyone to get involved in our church, community and across the world. You can be yourself here and will be embraced for everything that God has made you to be!
How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
Through a series of personal events, I moved to McKinney from Euless, TX in 2008. Christ Fellowship was the first church I attended when I moved to McKinney - honestly, because it was the closest church to my house. I immediately fell in love with the church and the people and never felt the need to look elsewhere for a church home. I was more welcomed here than any other church I have ever been a part of.
Before Christ Fellowship:
I spent 11 years in the banking industry of corporate America - covering every role from teller up to executive leadership.
How I Met Jesus:
I came to know Jesus when I was 8 years old. While I grew up with a Christian foundation and had personally accepted Christ, I don’t think I fully embraced His grace, love, forgiveness and mercy until I came to Christ Fellowship. My relationship with the Lord had grown tremendously since then, with the influence and guidance of many wonderful people, and I now fully rely on Him. I am so excited to see what God has in store for me!
Favorite Bible Verse:
Philippians 4:12-13 “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength.”
Hobbies:
I love singing and/or ANYTHING music related, making specialty cakes, sudoku or any puzzle, and spending time with my kids.
