What I Do:
I am in charge of staffing and maintaining the Promiseland rooms for children ages birth through age two. I am also responsible for maintaining the nursing mother's room and communication with new moms.

What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
I love the friendliness of our church, the care shown to others, and the unique feel of our church. I appreciate the straightforward, truthful messages that are preached and I enjoy the music and the dramas that we do periodically.

How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
When we moved from Austin where we attended Hill Country Bible Church they recommended that we try Fellowship North (now Chase Oaks). Since we lived in McKinney we felt it was a little too far to drive and be involved. Someone told us about the McKinney church plant and we began attending Christ Fellowship while they were at Faubion Middle School.

Before Christ Fellowship:
I became involved in the church in Austin while we were attending Hill Country Bible Church. David and I served in children's ministry and were part of a small group kind of like our life groups while there. I accepted Christ while attending that church in 1993. Prior to that we weren't really attending church regularly and my time was spent working at Ernst & Young in their marketing department.

How I Met Jesus:
After Ethan was born I began pushing him in the stroller around our neighborhood almost every day. Some ladies in the neighborhood saw me and befriended me and we began strolling every day. As time went on they started asking me questions about what I believed and eventually invited me to a Bible study at Hill Country Bible Church. One thing led to another and since I liked the church I asked David to visit one weekend. It was the right fit for us and we got involved in a small group that met in our neighborhood with couples in our same life stage (including the ones who had befriended me). I accepted Jesus not long after that at a Christmas program we attended with some of our life group friends.

Hobbies:
Gardening, reading, exercising (running, walking), listening to music, cooking
