What I Do:
I get to put all my geeky passions to work in managing our websites, communicating via social media, working with our database and providing tecnical training for staff. It’s a dream job come true.
What I Love About Christ Fellowship:
These folks are real, caring, spot-on followers of Christ. With straight-outta-the-Word teaching and a church family chock fulla people who just want to be like Jesus, it’s no wonder I have grown more spiritually in the first few years of being here than I think I have in my entire life.
How I Ended Up at Christ Fellowship:
The church’s website said “Come as you are.” I liked that anyone is welcome, and there is no expectation to put on airs to walk through the doors. And I was truly accepted “as I was.” Before the end of the first service I ever attended, I knew I’d found my church home.
Before Christ Fellowship:
I was miserable in the corporate world. I kept praying to work for someone with integrity and to live out the passions God had placed within me.
How I Met Jesus:
I was brought up in a Christian home and realized at a young age that I wanted to be a true child of God. So in the summer of 1978 during an altar call I walked forward and accepted Jesus Christ into my heart. And every day I learn more and more what it means to truly follow Him.
Favorite Bible Verse:
Galatians 2:20 ...I live by the faith of the son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Hobbies:
Reading, writing, knitting, trying out new recipes, gardener-wannabe
Random Fun Fact:
I have a bordering-on-unhealthy obsession with the color orange.
