Run for Cover

Run for Cover is a one day 3e McKinney 1, 5 & 10K walk/run to raise money for the Samaritan Inn (Collin County's only homeless shelter). All gross proceeds from the event go to The Samaritan Inn.
The race is through Stonebridge Ranch. The 5 and 10K courses are both fun, challenging and certified. There is music, prizes and awards!
We always run rain or shine.

Registration Fees
1K is $15/individual or $45/family up to four people.
5K is $25/individual or $75/family up to four people.
10K is $25/individual. The 10K does not have family pricing.
Packet Pick Up
Packet pick up will be at CK Sports the Thursday from 10 to 7 pm and Friday 10 to 5 pm. CK Sports is located on the N.E. corner of 121 and Custer.
Parking
Parking will be available at the Beach Club and Dowll Middle School.
Chip Timing
The race will be timed by Race Chip Timing. Disposable timing chips will be on your racing bibs. You must wear your bib to be timed. Race results can be found shortly after the race at racechiptiming.com.
Tech Shirts
Run for Cover will have custom running shirts for this event. Race shirts are guaranteed to all pre-registered runners. Sizes are not guaranteed!
Awards
Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners in the 5 and 10k. Age group awards will be 5 year increments. Every participant in the 1k will receive a finishers medal.
