Join us as we pray for our church family and leaders. Let us lift up to the Lord prayers for the hurting and downcast, the lost and the needy, the courageous and the frightened, and those who need healing and forgiveness.

Weekly Prayer Opportunities
  • Sundays, 7:30 am in the Chapel. We will be praying for God's mission and that many people will be reached with the Gospel.
  • Sundays, 9:30 am in the Prayer Room (the prayer room is just inside the west entrance of the Worship Center).
  • Pray for a spiritual awakening and a great harvest of souls, Thursdays, Noon in the Chapel.
  • A group gathers every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm in the Prayer Room to pray for revival and evangelism.
Monthly Prayer Opportunities
  • We pray for our missionaries working around the globe for the cause of Christ on the third Sunday of each month, 8:30-9:30 am in the Chapel.
  • Join others in McKinney to pray for revival and God's work in the McKinney region. Meets the third Wednesday of the month at noon, held in the chapel at First Baptist Church on Louisiana Ave.

21 Days of Prayer

We've prepared a 21 Days of Prayer Guide to explore 21 attributes of God, those qualities that make God who He is. By knowing these attributes, we can know more about God. As we pray and personalize these attributes, we come to know God better. As we pray and know God better, our faith grows and life’s challenges take on new meaning. Here are some simple steps to using this guide.

  1. In order to make this journey successful, please devote 12-15 minutes per day to this study.
  2. Before beginning each day, invite the Lord to open your heart and enlighten your understanding.
  3. Read the day’s devotional through once.
  4. Look up the scripture references.
  5. Reflect on the day’s attribute.
  6. Write a prayer and journal your thoughts in the spaces we have provided.
  7. Ask yourself, “How can I apply this in my life?”
