Moms Connection has been transforming women's lives during the 2011-2012 year!
Our theme of The Great Mommy Makeover has brought speakers who are sharing how to lose the old ways and learn how to be "new" wives and mothers in Christ. We have learned about discipline, chores, nutrition, the role of a Christian wife and mom, communication in marriage and more!
To celebrate marriage, ladies were also able to participate in the first ever Valentine's Day date night where couples were treated to a three course meal, music and light-hearted teaching about marriage. We will all enjoy family time and fun at the annual Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnic.
It is never too late to join us! We meet the second and fourth Monday of the month following the MISD school calendar.

What are the sessions like?
Moms Connection begins with a 9 am drop-off of children ages 0-5 to their age-appropriate class. Here they will enjoy their own program under the supervision of the Promiseland childcare workers.
Moms Connection moms then meet in Room 201 at 9:15am where we will sit in small groups (each mom is assigned to a small group of about 8-10 women, complete with a table leader to oversee the needs of the group). There will be a Mentor Mom at each table to provide one-on-one support when needed.
Meetings begin with a short prayer followed by a potluck hot breakfast (small groups take turns bringing food). Welcome, greetings, & announcements come next.
Around 9:45am, an invited speaker will share on topics related to marriage and parenting.
There may be some resources from the speaker or Moms Connection that you can peruse and purchase. And we have been known to give away door prizes, too!
We start winding down at about 11am and are dismissed by 11:15am to pick up our children.
Moms Connection is online
If you are a single mom or working mom who is unable to be with us live, we want to especially welcome you to try us online! This new avenue for reaching moms of young children will allow you to login at christfellowshipgroups.tv at 8 pm on Mondays when we have meetings. Also, be sure to "Like" us on Facebook!

Special Events
Special events outside the regular Moms Connection sessions are put together either as a small group event or an overall Moms Connection group event. Examples of these activities are: Play dates at the park, moms night out, family night out, special family events and couples date nights.
Volunteer
Volunteers provide the backbone to a successful Moms Connection season. Every season, motivated moms step up to become leaders in the ministry. This fall the ministry has openings for discussion group leaders, mentor moms, hospitality team, and numerous other volunteer positions. We are dedicated both behind and in front of the scenes to make Moms Connection a fun, supportive and rewarding experience for everyone!
