What is the Heart of Christ Fellowship?
Last year, our church searched out the "heart" of Christ Fellowship. That is, we looked deep into our values -- what we are about. What is important. What God expects of us. The consensus was clear.
Our mission is to be People helping people find and follow Christ. And our number one value is to be all about Jesus. This means we will not get distracted with any other agenda or direction other than Jesus Christ. We are a Christ-centered church, thus our name is so fitting. We are Christ Fellowship.
God has shaped Christ Fellowship so that we have a heart with the following five aspects:
All welcome – people of grace
All real – people who are authentic
All Bible – people guided by the Word
All in – people who hold nothing back
All together – people who unite to make a difference
We have created a study guide that unpacks scriptures that express the five aspects of our heart -- traits that are aspects of God’s heart. We aspire to more and more become people with this kind of heart. Even though this study was completed in April 2011, it is still available for your use if you missed it!
