What is the Landing?
The Landing is a new ministry that kicks off Friday, January 20.
This is a year-long program that helps teenagers (6th-12th grade) travel the path to freedom, healing, and wholeness from addictions, life issues, abuse, depression, or anything that causes them pain. It mirrors the content presented in the successful Celebrate Recovery program based on the 8 Principles from the Beatitudes and the 12 Steps.
The lessons deliver hope-filled truths and real-life strategies for giving young people the tools for making wise choices and developing healthy patterns for living.

Truth from God's Word to help overcome life's challenges.
Joy in a wonderful, yearlong journey of worship, videos, learning experiences, laughter and conversation.
Friendship with other teenagers who'll be a healthy, positive peer group.
The Landing Journal $10. This journal will be available for purchase at the each of the meetings and will be used the whole year.

What does it look like?
6 pm - Dinner in the Outback with other Landing teens and Celebrate Recovery attendees (Dinner is $4)
7 pm - Large group worship in the Attic
7:20 pm - The Landing large group meeting in room 107: videos, interactive lessons, small group discussions, supportive leaders
9 pm - Fellowship time in the Youth Lounge
9:30 pm - Go home
Are you an adult that would like to volunteer?
We are looking for small group leaders, people who can run tech, people interested in maintaining our Facebook page... whatever your gifts and abilities, we can find a place for you. The main qualification is to have a heart for students and to love Jesus.

Since we are working with minors, you must also fill out an application for a background check.
After your application has been reviewed, you will receive a call to set up an interview. Please printout and bring Your SHAPE and Beliefs of Christ Fellowship with you to the interview. We are excited to see what God does in the lives of our youth.
