Give to CIM Offering
Our special CIM (Community Impact Ministries) offering funds all of our community impact ministries year round.
Therefore I command you to be openhanded toward your brothers and toward the poor and needy in your land. - Deuteronomy 15:11
Sell your possessions and give to the poor. - Luke 12:33
Once each year we’re provided an opportunity to align our hearts with the Lord’s heart for the poor, the needy, the widow and the orphaned.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. - James 1:27
We get to express through our generosity, our commitment and concern for the marginalized, the outcast and underserved.
"...He did what was right and just, so all went well with him. He defended the cause of the poor and needy, and so all went well. Is that not what it means to know me?” declares the Lord.
- Jeremiah 22:15b-16
Christ Fellowship is people helping people find and follow Christ. We can bring a foretaste of His coming kingdom to the people of Collin County. Through our lives and service to God we bring hope, healing, mercy and justice to our community. Christ Fellowship has developed long-term initiatives, partnerships and developed compassionate ministries to reach deep into our community’s areas of great need.
The CIM offering is Christ Fellowship’s method for funding our kingdom impact locally in our own community. Our prayer is that through our collective generosity this offering will provide the funds to enable us together to accomplish all the Lord has put on our heart for our community. Ministry outreaches include:
3e Go and Be Projects – Each Spring we deploy our whole church into the community to share the love of Christ as servants in concrete and tangible ways. We are currently engaged in a multiyear plan to partner with east McKinney churches in neighborhood renovation projects, moving sector by sector through our cities' least served neighborhoods. Our hope is to expand these projects to a year-round calendar as funds permit. Financial Goal: $30,000.
3e Adopt-A-School - Webb Elementary – The Adopt-A-School program reaches out to the teachers and staff at Title 1 schools in McKinney by providing school supplies to teachers and students, and participating in and supporting McKinney’s ISD’s Reach Mentoring Program, local PTA/PTO organizations, annual events and programs such as teacher appreciation and school beautification. Financial Goal: $12,000.
3e McKinney (3emckinney.com) – Christ Fellowship is one of two founding churches of this non-profit organization to make lasting impact on our community for the cause of Christ. 3e McKinney is led by former police chief and former city manager of McKinney, Larry Robinson. Today, 3e connects over 40 local churches, the business community, non-profits, the school districts, health agencies, social agencies and the government sectors to address the most significant needs in our community. Financial Goal: $25,000.
If a man shuts his ears to the cry of the poor, he too will cry out and not be answered.
- Proverbs 21:13
Community Blessing Fund - This fund is dedicated to ministering to the people living within the reach of our church body, but who do not attend Christ Fellowship by providing financial support. This fund exists to minister to the poor, the widow and the orphan and those who have experienced calamity, tragedy or disaster. (Christ Fellowship has a separate fund for church members, the Love Fund, to minister to our own family members who experience need.) Financial Goal: 10% off the total CIM offering
Shiloh Place Ministry – A non-profit, Christ-centered ministry to single mothers providing hope and stability through a supportive and structured program. The purpose of Shiloh Place is to provide women and their children a safe and stable environment to live while they acquire the life and work skills to become productive, self-sustaining, self-respecting moms. Financial Goal: $5,000.
The CIM offering also financially under-writes all of the event costs for our largest events like:
Clothe a Child, $2,000-$5,000
3e Run for Cover $4,000-$6,000
3e Scare Away Hunger - $3,000
3e Garage Giveaway $8,000-$10,000
The underwriting of these events varies year to year.
Other ministries your CIM monies support:

Plus many more ….
The righteous care about justice for the poor, but the wicked have no such concern.
- Proverbs 29:7
May God move in our hearts to be thoroughfares and pipelines who channel his abundant blessings poured out on us to others; may we not be those who hoard, or view ourselves as holding tanks, cul-de-sacs or dead-end streets of God bountiful resources richly given to us, but may we generously send them into his kingdom’s work so that lives will be impacted for Christ and hearts transformed by the gospel.
Our ongoing commitment is to engage in the ministry initiatives that the Lord financially provides for through the Christ Fellowship family’s generous financial support. If funding comes in under our targeted goals we will prayerfully consider which projects and ministries are the highest priorities and invest accordingly. Please prayerfully consider how God would have you sacrifice financially so we may continue to grow our community outreach touching hearts and changing lives for eternity.
